Game rules for Czech Chess Variant

Basic position:
white rooks: a1, h1; dark rooks: a8, h8
white knights: b1, g1; dark knights: b8, g8
white bishops: c1, f1; dark bishops: c8, f8
Pawns are ready to place next to chess board.

Movement of chess pieces:

Pawns: don't move, no task, block square after place only
Knights (N): move in an L-shaped pattern. A knight moves one square over and two squares up, or two squares over and one square up, one square over and two squares back, etc. as long as the same shape and size of the jump is maintained. The knight is the only piece that can jump over other pieces. It jumps straight to a square without disturbing any of the pieces in between
Bishop (B): The Bishop moves diagonally, any distance along a diagonal, without jumping over any pieces. A bishop that starts on a black square will always be on a black square, so it can only get to half the squares on the board.
Rook (R): The Rook moves in a straight line in any direction, as many spaces as it likes, without jumping.

Stroke:
A player who is on a turn can pull a piece or place pawns on a field that is attacked by three or more of his pieces - the pawns do not attack and the pieces are not capturing (Example: black can place pawn at e5 square)
Game Goal: The player who has placed all eight pawns on the board wins

Draw:
if a turn occurs, or the player has no chance to move with any piece

Benefits of chess

Did you know that chess can develop not only thinking but also social skills and personality in a different way and the game is an ideal complement to some physical sport activities? Yes, it is right and everything is in a playful form which is suitable for all ages from small children.

Chess is also part of the school outlines in more than 30 countries, such as Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Armenia, the US or Canada. The aim, however, is not the education of chess masters, but the development of mental abilities that will be useful not only during school, but also in further life and profession. Chess uniquely develops abstract, logical and combinational thinking and leads to the practice of exploring and comparing different options.

A number of psychological studies conducted around the world have also shown that chess can increase intelligence quotient (IQ), strengthen the skills needed to solve problems effectively, learn how to make difficult decisions independently and responsibly, and increase language, math, memory, concentration, increase creativity and abstract thinking. Chess also enhances the art of concentration, patience and perseverance.
Many of the features developed during the game can be used in virtually all fields and life professions.

The advantage of chess is the possibility to start and actively play really at any age, e.g. many players over the age of 80 participate in competitions and tournaments. The classic chess game is quite demanding and the number of teachers and trainers who are able and willing to teach this game is relatively low.
However, there are also various variants of chess games, the most famous of which is Fischer Random Chess (Chess960), in which the first World Championship took place in 2019 - but even this game is challenging.

Now there is a new possibility: a variant of the chess game "Czech Chess". This game has considerably easier rules that even non-chess players will learn in a few tens of minutes, but it is so complex that it brings these benefits to a much wider number of children and adults. The rules of the game are easy to learn for yourself and to start the game you just need a normal chess set and of course your opponent.
Simply try "Czech Chess", they are the only chess you will play with real ease.
